About Snoozlo

We bought four dog beds in three years. Every one of them was sold as supportive, and every one of them was a flat pancake by the following winter. The last one went in the bin the week our labrador started hesitating before she lay down.

That is the whole reason Snoozlo exists. Not a gap in the market, just a bin full of dog beds.

What we decided mattered

Two layers, or it does not work. A single slab of soft foam feels lovely in the shop and flattens under forty kilos of sleeping dog. Ours is egg-crate memory foam over a firm high-density base, so the top gives and the bottom does not.

It has to survive a washing machine. Dogs come home wet, muddy, and occasionally worse. If the cover does not zip off and go in at 40, the bed becomes a problem you keep in the utility room.

It has to look like it belongs. Most orthopaedic beds look medical. Ours are bouclé and neutral, because the bed goes where the family sits, not where the mop lives.

What we will tell you honestly

No bed is chew-proof against a determined puppy. Memory foam arrives compressed and takes a day to reach full height. And a bed that is slightly too big works fine, while one that is slightly too small gets ignored — which is why we would rather you email us your dog's measurements than guess.

If you are between sizes, or unsure whether a bed will help an older dog, ask us before you order. We would rather talk you into the right size than take a return.

How we do things

Foam we can name

CertiPUR-US certified, dual-layer, and we will tell you exactly what is in it.

Built to be washed

Covers zip off and go in at 40. A bed you cannot clean is a bed you stop using.

We answer sizing emails

Send the breed and the measurements. We would rather get it right first time.

She'd started struggling to get up in the mornings, so we tried the large. Three weeks later she's on the bed instead of the kitchen floor, which she never did with the old one. No dip in the middle yet either.

Stuck between medium and large, so I emailed and asked. Same-day reply telling me to size up because collies sleep stretched out rather than curled. They were right. She takes up the whole thing.

Third bed in two years, and the first one I haven't shoved in the utility room when people come over. The bouclé genuinely looks like furniture.
